About Wendi Lev

“Your brain is wired for survival—but therapy helps you rewire for clarity, growth, and connection.”

Practical Expertise. Evidence-Based Therapy. Personalized Care.

I believe change is always possible, no matter how stuck or overwhelmed you may feel. Therapy isn’t just about insight; it’s about traction. I help people build emotional resilience, rework entrenched patterns, and develop skills that support meaningful, lasting change.

My Background

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), and Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) member with over 25 years of experience. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, where I graduated in the top 2% of my class. Since then, I’ve served in top-tier hospital systems, community-based programs, and private practice.

I’ve worked with a wide range of populations and diagnoses—from complex dual diagnoses and acute psychiatric issues to high-functioning professionals navigating life transitions. My early work included roles at Michael Reese Hospital (Adolescent In-Patient Psychiatry) and eight years at the Stone Institute of Psychiatry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where I provided therapy in both outpatient and dual-diagnosis programs.
